CitySafe

CitySafe is our community-focused initiative offering free and low-cost workshops on self-defense, de-escalation, emergency medical response, and situational awareness. We meet people where they are, in parks, community centers, or online, to make high-quality safety training practical and inclusive.

Through partnerships with local nonprofits, community groups, and agencies, we expand access to training and support organizations in keeping their communities safe.

The Cadre Initiative

The Cadre Initiative is PPC’s year-long, skills-based training program funded by the NYC Department of Veterans’ Services. Designed specifically for veterans and their families, this initiative provides participants with comprehensive, hands-on instruction focused on self-defense, physical fitness, leadership, and team coordination.

Our curriculum emphasizes real-world safety strategies, resilience, and situational awareness, empowering participants not only to protect themselves and others but also to take on leadership roles within their communities.
